The smartest person

This is the app for the Dutch version of the television program De slimste mens. This knowledge quiz with a wink searches for the smartest person in the Netherlands. Play this fun quiz against your friends, unknown clever people or alone.

The app has been completely renewed in 2021 so that you can play your favorite game even better! The app runs smoother and it's easier to play multiple games at once. Major improvements:

- In the list of games at the top you can quickly see which games are running and easily start a new game.

- Challenge friends and family through the house screen. Share your personal link and invite them to become friends the way you want.

- By winning three times in a row you get a trophy. Collect as many The smartest people as possible and maybe you'll phrase the winner of the month!

Multiplayer

In the multiplayer game you play 5 rounds of game against friends or random opponents. The object of the game is to eliminate your opponent by making sure that his or her seconds run out first. In the first 4 game rounds you can win seconds yourself by answering questions quickly and correctly. In the final you get the chance to play away your opponent's seconds with correct answers.

Singleplayer

In the singleplayer you can test your knowledge yourself. You don't need an opponent for this. This game consists of the 3-6-9 round only. You get 9 open questions that you have to answer correctly within 90 seconds. You get 100 seconds for each correct answer. With a correct answer to questions 3, 6 and 9, you will receive 300 seconds. Be quick, because your seconds are ticking again!

Are you really smart and do you get a high score? With your rating in the single player you enter the ranking of the app of The smartest person. The player who achieved the highest rating of the week during the television season of The Smartest Man has a chance to win the one and only 'I am the smartest mug'. The winner will be notified personally by way of an e-mail.

New: Win series

Are you the smartest person in the Netherlands? You can prove that every month by achieving winning streaks in the app.

When you win 3 multiplayer games in a row, you complete a winning streak and get a trophy. If you collect the most cups this month, you will be the winner of the month! Does not it work? Don't worry. Every month you have a new chance, on the first day of the month all win series are reset to 0.

You see the progress of your win series at the end of a won game. In addition, you will find an overview of your current winning series, your achieved winning series and your place in the ranking on the home page of the app.

TV question of the day

During the television season of The smartest person you can play the TV question of the day on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. You will see a puzzle in the app that the candidates also have to solve that evening in the broadcast of De smartest mens. We look for 3 connections in the puzzle that are described with 4 keywords. You will see the correct answers on the broadcast in the evening. We will draw one winner per day from all players with the correct answers. The winner of the TV question of the day can be seen during the television season on deslimstemens.nl and will receive a personal message via e-mail.
