Current focus topics of the Internet Watchlist include: subscription traps, classified ads fraud, phishing, rip-offs via mobile phones and smartphones, fake shops, brand counterfeiting, scamming or advance fraud, Facebook fraud, fake bills, fake warnings, ransom Trojans.
The Internet Watchlist helps Internet users to be better informed about online fraud and to learn how to deal more competently with fraudulent tricks. This strengthens trust in one's own online competence as well as trust in the Internet as a whole.
Internet users can report Internet traps themselves via a reporting function and thus actively support the awareness-raising work of the Internet Watchlist.
