With QRTAN , the 1822direkt offers you a modern and up-to-date security procedure for online banking.
With the 1822direkt QRTAN procedure, banking transactions can be processed more easily and quickly. In your online banking you can carry out orders anytime and anywhere. All you need is a PC or tablet and a smartphone with the QRTAN app.

This is how the QRTAN process works
After entering your order data in 1822direkt online banking, you will be shown a QR code that you can decrypt with your QRTAN app. To do this, start the app and scan the QR code displayed. The app will then show you the data you have recorded for control purposes. In any case, check the transaction data displayed in the QRTAN app and approve the order in the app.
If you do not currently have an internet connection, you will be shown a TAN. Use the displayed TAN to approve the order in 1822direkt online banking.
Registration and activation
Register free of charge in your 1822direkt online banking for the progressive procedure (under the menu item "Service | PIN / TAN management | QRTAN "). Activate the QRTAN procedure and confirm it with your current TAN procedure, then you can start immediately.
