850 OBD-II

This app is especially for Volvos from years 1996-98 to use with ELM327 bluetooth/Wifi/USB dongle to diagnose, read and even program little bit. To exceed over standard OBDII capabilities (ex. Pxxx codes not being there in case of fault or not being clear enough) to learn these automobiles to help diagnose issues. Please verify website for up to date and extra information.

Requirement!:

ELM327(V1.4b or greater).

Most problems comes when ELM327 is not having appropriately behaving firmware like V1.4b or larger ought to have! Example missing command ATSI which is critical for operations! If you've on ELM327 simply black glue blob chip on board.. It works only with commonplace OBDII stuff and never with this app most functions. App has pop as a lot as notify person if this happens.

On these models Electronic Control Units as Yazaki dash (VDO is OBD capable!), M4.3 (M4.4 is OBD capable!), MFI system (LH-jetronic 3.2 EZ129K), Fenix 5.2, ECC(A/C) and Cruise Control are not reachable by ELM327!

S40/V40, C70/S70/V70/XC70, S90/V90 series

1999-2000 years had been growing years for Volvo as instance V70 fashions are working partially like not to hook up with Engine ECU or ABS due them being newer CAN Bus systems BUT! VGLA, Immobiliser, SRS, AW 50-42.. are linked due them being on older methods still.

There will be some errors/bugs as i can check issues largely on my own Volvo and or bench. So when you ship that 850log.txt file to me through email (via settings) i look what i can do!

App doesn't have any tracking of users (location permission i asked due because of bluetooth permissions*) only what Google Play Store does itself(counting etc).

*To entry the hardware identifiers of nearby external devices via Bluetooth -- scans, your app must now have the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION or ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permissions

*To have Wifi help wanted to have next permissions; CHANGE_WIFI_STATE and android.permission.INTERNET.
