Workers - extract assets. They can chop wooden and work on the farm. They also can fight if essential.

Mules - ship resources from captured mines

Fishing Boats - fishing. This is an effective approach to collect food.

Archers - low-cost, effective towards flippantly armored items

Crossbowmen- expensive, however pierce heavy armor and are nicely protected themselves

Spearmen - cheap, effective against cavalry

Swordsmen - have a safety bonus against archers

Heavy swordsmen - nearly invulnerable to archers, but expensive

Knights (cavalry) - effective in opposition to archers and catapults

Ballista - efficient in opposition to catapults, handy to placed on walls to defend during a siege

Catapults - can destroy walls, the projectile deals harm to all objects within the radius of destruction. Caution, don't injure your troopers!
